Solid Wood Spring Hook Ring Toss

A minimalist, function-first ring toss game built for longevity: solid beechwood board (30 × 15 × 2 cm), cold-formed steel spring hook with brass pivot, and three dense hardwood rings. Weight: 1.2 kg. The wood is planed flat, sanded to 180-grit smoothness, and finished with plant-based oil — enhancing grain while sealing against UK humidity. Hook tension is factory-set for optimal ‘give’: enough to absorb impact without bouncing rings away, yet firm enough to register clean catches. No paint, no plastic, no glue joints — only mechanical integrity and honest materiality. Functions flawlessly indoors during winter months and outdoors year-round, provided basic shelter from prolonged sub-zero frost or standing water.
