SPINACH BEET Perpetual \nOften referred to as Swiss Chard but Spinach Beet is smaller with narrower stems and dark, fleshy leaves. \nIt is also very resistant to bolting and therefore very useful on dry ground. \nSpinach Beet, looks, tastes and grows very similar to spinach but it will crop almost all year round, hence the name Perpetual. \nA great container vegetable, Spinach Beet is perfect for pots or troughs on the patio or balcony, in fact if space is limited they can be placed almost anywhere. \nIt will tolerate a wide range of soils but Spinach Beet prefers a dappled or lightly shaded position with rich, moisture-retentive free-draining soil. \nVery hardy, Perpetual is suitable for autumn and winter cropping although overwintered crops will need some protection. \nSpinach Beet are not normally troubled with pests, the only thing to keep a look out for are slugs. \nCan be eaten raw or lightly boiled or steamed as served like spinach. \nDetailed growing instructions are on the back of each packet \nPacket contains: 225 seeds approx. \nIMMEDIATE \n \nDesign and colouring of packets may occasionally vary. \nWe want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Spinach Beet seed is checked and inspected visually before packing. .
