Square Neutral Density Moon Filter

A precisely dimensioned 3.00 × 3.00 × 0.70 cm (1.18 × 1.18 × 0.28 in) square filter built for lunar observation. The body is machined from corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, providing mechanical stability and longevity; the optical surface uses hardened glass for scratch resistance and consistent light transmission. Its neutral density characteristic lowers brightness uniformly across the visible spectrum — ideal for revealing fine lunar topography and reducing pupil fatigue during prolonged viewing. Designed for ease of use: slides directly into compatible filter trays or eyepiece holders without modification. Suited to urban and suburban observers in the UK where moonlight glare often overwhelms low-light detail visibility.
