Core structure combines food-grade silicone, woven fibre matrix and micro-textured silica gel backing — all compliant with EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for food contact materials. Surface is chemically inert and non-porous: won’t absorb flavours, stains or odours from onions, turmeric, coffee or smoked fish — critical for multi-use kitchens.
