Stainless External Retaining Ring Kit

This external retaining ring kit uses austenitic stainless steel (AISI 304) to deliver inherent resistance to rust, pitting, and environmental wear. Contains 12 standard sizes matching common shaft diameters from 6 mm to 25 mm, each sized to ISO 8752 and DIN 471 specifications. Rings feature uniform thickness, smooth radius transitions, and controlled free-gap tolerances. Total weight: 0.25 kg. Packaged in a robust transparent grid box (15 x 10 x 3 cm) with engraved size labels and secure hinged lid. All rings are tested for tensile yield strength (>600 MPa), hardness (200–220 HV), and dimensional repeatability before dispatch. Surface finish meets Ra ≤ 0.8 μm, supporting low-friction installation and reduced wear on mating components. Deployed across UK-based maintenance operations for industrial fans, printing press rollers, agricultural gearboxes, and compressed air system regulators — especially where legacy carbon steel rings previously failed due to rust-induced breakage or groove contamination.
