Stainless Steel Y Strainer DN15 PT Thread

This Y-strainer is constructed from premium-grade stainless steel, with a nominal size of DN15 (1/2 inch) and PT (Pipe Taper) thread connections. It features a compact inline Y-shaped body design, weighing approximately 0.32 kg and measuring 98 mm in length, 42 mm in width, and 62 mm in height. The strainer incorporates a removable stainless steel mesh basket for effective particle retention, enabling easy cleaning and long-term reusability. Its core function is mechanical filtration — capturing sand, rust, scale, and other suspended solids from flowing water or gas before they reach sensitive pump components. Designed specifically for low-pressure domestic and light commercial pumping systems, it integrates seamlessly into existing PT-threaded piping without adapters or welding. Ideal for protecting centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, and pressure regulators in both cold water supply and low-pressure propane/butane gas lines.
