Sturdy ABS IP66 Outdoor Distribution Box

This distribution box leverages high-performance ABS plastic for superior impact resistance, dimensional stability, and long-term weather resistance — especially suited to the UK’s temperate maritime climate. Offered in three capacity tiers — 5-way (16 × 12 × 9.5 cm), 8-way (20 × 15.5 × 9.5 cm), and 12-way (25.5 × 20 × 9.5 cm) — each maintains identical mounting dimensions and DIN-rail compatibility. The insulated housing ensures operator safety during incidental contact, while the transparent grey cover delivers clear visibility of internal switching elements without compromising enclosure integrity. Its snap-fit lid provides tactile feedback upon closure and retains consistent sealing force over hundreds of cycles. The base features a smooth, unbroken surface — ready for precision-cut entry points sized to match specific cable diameters or gland types. Designed around real-world maintenance pain points, it removes the need for thread cutting, gasket replacement, or hinge lubrication — supporting predictable, repeatable servicing intervals. IP66 certification confirms suitability for permanent outdoor mounting, including locations subject to hose-directed cleaning, coastal fog, or winter ice accumulation — commonly applied in EV charge point enclosures, external lighting hubs, and auxiliary power feeds for CCTV or access control systems.
