Threaded Metal Solar Telescope Filter

This solar filter is built entirely from metal components with no glue, solvents, or formaldehyde — ensuring both user safety and environmental responsibility. Its robust threaded metal ring mounts securely by screwing directly onto the telescope’s objective lens barrel, eliminating reliance on adhesives or pressure-fit mechanisms. This design prevents loosening, falling off, or debonding even after extended use or temperature fluctuations. Compatible with reflector and refractor telescopes alike, it enables safe solar, lunar, and planetary observation. Correct sizing depends on measuring the outer diameter of your telescope’s objective lens: for instance, a 146 mm outer diameter (such as on the Celestron 127SLT) matches the 160 mm filter variant, while a 235 mm outer diameter (e.g., Celestron 8SE) requires the 250 mm version. The stated 'Type: 100mm' refers to standard industry sizing nomenclature. Package contains one composite membrane solar filter only — no mounting tools or adapters included.
