Transparent Heat-Set Denture Gel

A transparent, heat-activated denture adhesive gel composed of polyvinyl alcohol cross-linked polymer and sodium polyacrylate. Intended for users seeking discreet, secure, and comfortable denture retention. Preparation involves soaking both dentures and the gel packet in water heated to exactly 60°C for 1–2 minutes. Upon full liquefaction into a clear gel, it is applied directly to the intaglio surface of cleaned dentures. After seating and minor adjustment, the dentures are held in place for 60 seconds to allow thermal setting, followed by natural cooling to finalise adhesion. The result is a lightweight, breathable, and anatomically adaptive fit that supports confident speech and chewing.
