UK-Optimised Multi-Directional Rain Funnel

240 mm (L) × 240 mm (W) × 220 mm (H); weight approx. 1.3 kg. A high-volume catch basin engineered specifically for UK roof drainage challenges — especially at gutter intersections on pitched roofs. Fabricated from UV-stabilised PVC with reinforced wall thickness for rigidity and longevity in variable weather. Open-top configuration includes top inlet for direct gutter outlet coupling and bottom outlet sized for universal compatibility with UK-standard downspouts (65 mm round or 65 × 65 mm square). Rear face features precision-drilled mounting holes aligned for fast, accurate eaves-level wall fixing using standard UK fixings. Functions hydraulically as both a multi-directional collector — managing concurrent inflow from two gutters during heavy rain — and a calibrated leader head — smoothing water transfer into the downspout to eliminate splash, noise and localised erosion. Its form follows UK installation practice: compact footprint fits tight eaves spaces, weight supports stability without overloading fascia boards, and geometry complies with BS EN 12200-1 flow capacity expectations for domestic applications. Designed for real-world UK use: compatible with Alu, PVC-U and cast iron gutter systems; performs reliably across all four UK nations’ rainfall intensities (from 15 mm/hr in eastern England to 35 mm/hr in western Scotland); requires no specialist tools or certification for competent DIY or trade installers.
