Universal USB Cash Drawer Interface

The BT-100U is a black plastic USB interface module engineered to replace traditional printer-dependent cash drawer triggering. It connects directly between any standard cash drawer and a computer’s USB port, drawing full power from the bus. Using a virtual COM port driver, it presents itself as a serial device (e.g., COM7) — ensuring full interoperability with existing POS applications written for RS232. Each unit carries a factory-assigned serial number, allowing the driver to consistently map ports across reboots and support multiple units per host. Compatible with all widely used cash drawer command protocols, including ESC/POS, DTR toggle, and TTL-level pulse — no configuration switches, dip settings, or command translation layers required.
