USB DMX Controller RS485 Adapter

A dedicated USB-to-DMX512 interface designed for precise, low-latency control of stage lighting equipment from PCs, laptops or embedded systems. Physical specs: 1.8 m length, 4.0 mm outer diameter, 26AWG 3-conductor wiring, PVC insulation and plastic housing. Connects via USB-A to host and terminates in XLR 3-pin female for standard DMX input. Core electronics use FT232 USB bridge and SP485 RS485 transceiver, operating in half-duplex mode with ESD-hardened circuitry. Transmission range extends to 5 km at lower baud rates; maximum throughput reaches 3 Mbps. Includes 1024-byte EEPROM for storing device-specific identifiers and settings, programmable via MProg3.5. Driver support covers Windows (XP to 10, all major editions and architectures), Linux, macOS (OS 8/9), Android and Windows RT using either VCP or D2XX interface modes.
