Windproof Crash-Resistant Handguards

Size: 24 cm (length) × 12 cm (width) × 8 cm (height); net weight 380 g (pair). Fabricated from high-strength polycarbonate — a material widely used in protective gear for its ability to absorb kinetic energy, resist abrasion, and retain integrity after repeated exposure to UV, moisture, and thermal fluctuation. The crash-resistant engineering focuses on controlled deformation: upon impact, the guard yields slightly then rebounds, shielding hands and preserving lever alignment and bar geometry. In weather use, the wraparound form creates an aerodynamic pocket that slows wind velocity at the palm, retains ambient warmth, and keeps rain and mud from contacting skin or glove seams — enabling safer, more precise inputs in all seasons. Mounting relies entirely on original mirror stem points, using corrosion-resistant fasteners included in the kit. The ergonomic shaping also helps steady hand position during engine vibration or crosswinds, reducing micro-adjustments and enhancing overall ride confidence — whether navigating London roundabouts or Scottish single-track roads.
