XenoGC Direct-Install Drive Mod

The XenoGC is a direct-install drive modchip for the Nintendo GameCube, designed to extend optical drive functionality without modifying the console’s mainboard. It mounts directly to the DVD drive logic board and applies runtime patches to unlock enhanced capabilities. Made from rigid blue PCB material, it weighs approximately 10 grams and fits precisely into the European GameCube drive bay. Supports booting from DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs, region-free loading, and multigame disc images. Installation is wireless—no ribbon cable splicing or mainboard disassembly needed. Two status LEDs provide visual feedback: red signals active reset or patching process; orange confirms successful runtime code injection. Five runtime modes—including audio fix, DRE disable, NTSC display forcing, custom display mode and XenoGC Shell—are activated using standard controller buttons during disc load. Includes SD2SP2 adapter and configuration CD.
